To be considered for admission to this programme, students shall have to satisfy the General Admission Requirements set by the Open University of Hong Kong and the specific requirements of the programme.‚Äč

INTERVIEW

There will be an admission interview for selected students who have satisfied the general admission requirements.

Tuition Fee

STUDY SUBSIDY SCHEME FOR DESIGNATED PROFESSIONS/SECTORS  (SSSDP)

The Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions / Sectors (SSSDP) is a new subsidy scheme initiated by the HKSAR Government to subsidise about 1,000 students per cohort to pursue designated full-time locally-accredited self-financing undergraduate programmes in selected disciplines to nurture talents to meet Hong Kong’s social and economic needs.

 

Starting from 2018/19 academic year, the Scheme would be regularized and more OUHK programmes have been selected, covering a wider range of academic disciplines including different bachelor degree programmes from creative arts and film arts and they are:

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Animation and Visual Effects

  • Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Creative Writing and Film Arts

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours in Cinematic Design and Photographic Digital Art
